Sarah Moorbey

Proprietor and Instructor Sarah is a BHSAI and holds her level 5 diploma in coaching horse riders for competition. After growing up with horses from the age of 5, Sarah went to The college of west anglia after leaving school and achieved her Bhs teaching qualifications as well a National Diplomer, National Certificate in the management of horses. 

Sarah started Hill Farm in 2010 and has built the yard up from a handfull of horses and ponies to what we have today. Sarah teaches riding and horse husbandary for all abilitys from the complete beginer to competition level riders. The yard has always been for all the customers to enjoy and she thrives to ensure that everyone has a happy and enjoyable time while at Hill Farm, and can go off and enjoy riding all over the world or even to having their own horse or pony.

Sarah also competes and represented Suffolk at British Dressage in 2023, as well as Qualifing Billy at the Sunshine Tour and enjoying one day events, showjumping and eventer trials. Billy also won the worlington riding club dressage championship and combined training.

Sarah and Billy represented Worlington Team dressage at the AREA 14 competition coming a nobal 3rd out of 8 teams. 

 

Kayleigh West

Yard Manager 

Kayleigh is our yard manager at Hill farm. Originaly from a racing back ground Kayleigh has completed the British Racing school level 3 course and has a wealth of knowledge across the equestrian industry. Including foaling, riding Thoroughbreed racehorses and Arab race horses. Kay also owns her own ex race horse Arab Al Hakeem (aka Alan), who she enjoys hacking and showing, last year being placed at the Royal Norfolk Show.

Kay is incharge of Yard staff and yard routine, as well as the day to day care of the horses, also keeping all the admin and records up to date for them. From vet to farrier, feed to lesson admin.

Kay also teaches our Pony Club sessions. For the first time our Hill farm teams qualified for both the 2023 Quiz Championships and the Blue Cross Horse and Pony Care Championships. A fantastic acheivement from all of them. also adding to the list Kay insures the smoth running of our Showjumping Shows, Scoring at the Horse and pony care qualifier that we host and has the duty of Camp Cook and entertainer during our Summer camp's. 

Fay Donovan

Pony Club Coordinator, Yard Technician and Junior Instructor.

Fay joined us in 2013 and plays an important role in our Pony Club keeping it up to date and organised.

Jade joined the Hill farm team in 2023. Playing an active role both on the the yard and Teaching.  

Jade started her riding journey at Hill Farm Stables in 2015 as a helper on Saturdays. She then left Hill farm to take on a loan pony before later finding and buying her forever pony. Jade had weekend jobs at various types of yards alongside school and sixth form before getting an apprenticeship at a dressage yard where she completed her level 2 and 3 As an equine groom. Jade enjoys taking part in showing showes and hacking in her spare time, she also enjoys walking her cocker spaniel in the country side. she is working on and hopes to take her next bhs qualification in 2024.

Jade has comleted to a high standard her Level 2 diploma in work-based horse care. 

Level 3 (intermediate level) senior equine groom (non ridden) work-based and  

Bhs stage 1 complete horsemanship.
